Starting July 7th, the Lawrence Farmer’s Market is back! The Lawrence Farmers Market is held on both Saturdays and Wednesdays, and it’s a great way to support local farms and add healthy fruits and vegetables to your diet.
The Wednesday Farmers Market is located 2 blocks from Washington Mills, and is an easy walk! Take a stroll up to City Hall (right in between Essex St and Common St) and you’ll find an abundance of legumes and fruits. You will also find vendors selling arts, crafts and more. Feel the buzz of the weekday crowd while taking in some sun and getting a little exercise on your walk over. The market is open from 9am to 2pm.
Can’t make it on Wednesday? Well you are in luck! Saturday’s farmers market is located at 216 Lawrence St, across from Greater Lawrence Family Health Center. Vendors selling goods as well as healthy, local produce will be there from 9am-3pm.
Local farmer’s markets add a lot of value to a community. It allows you to become a part of your town, meet your neighbors, and support small businesses all at the same time.
